Folks, no GMO at the Globe-Miami Farmer’s Market! Yes, another year of fresh, fresh vegetables, fruit and more. The 4th season will run on Saturdays, from June 7, 2014 to September 27, 2014. Market opens at 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Blink your eyes and your food will be gone, so get there early! This year there will be 2 extra Market dates, May 31, 2014 and October 4, 2014, both from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Supported by our local Tractor Supply Store in celebration of the farmer’s market movement across America. As the old saying goes, “Kill two birds with one stone.” On Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 8 a.m. learn your lizards on a guided walk, and then, at 9:30 a.m. take the class on Prickly Pear Cactus. Make your day worth while! The Prickly Pear Cactus class will repeat on Sunday, August 17, 2014.
