Past Exhibit: Doug’s Refried Robots ~ Art of the Robot Exhibit by Doug Brannan
Doug’s Refried Robots Exhibit ran August-September 2014.
July 2014 the Summer Youth Musical Theater Program presented “Seussical, Jr” by Special Arrangement with Musical Theater Int.
“Anything’s Possible” is one of our favorite lyrics from “Seussical, Jr.,” the recent musical presented by the Summer Youth Musical Theater Program at the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts. SYMTP’s accomplishments were possible because of the support and help of a great number of community individuals, organizations, businesses and corporations. With a cast of 43 young people ages 8 to 18, we presented 10 performances — including two youth matinees sponsored by EMC2 and two nursing home concerts. For the first time, we traveled to San Carlos and entertained at the Older Adult Center.
It was an exciting time, marked by laughter, growth and new ways to “Think and Wonder and Dream,” all thanks to parents, staff, many kind helpers and generous sponsors. Enormous thanks to: Staff: Lyndon Baker, Laura Belvado, Jessica Doong, Katie Gardea, Linda Gustafson, David Lederman, Carol Rios, Michael Rose, Carisa Shipley, Samantha Sterk, Diana Tunis and Paul Tunis. Special thanks to: Guin Anderson, Susie Baker, Maryn Belling, Margaret Brantley, Net Bronson, Molly Cornwell, Kip Culver, Pat Dodd, the Geri and Ed Gardea Family, Autumn Giles, Delores Guerrero, Reena Guerrero, Sherry Davis, Lynn Haak, Katie Hall, Michelle Harrison, Tanner Hunsaker and Western Reprographics, Miriam Jones, Leslie Kim, Zack Long, Marc Marin, Miami School District, Tiina Perman, David Rodgers, JoNell Thomas, Willy Thomas, Sean Tundu, Bob Tunis and Joy Weddle.
